Service provider and contact
Guardei is developed and maintained by Rafael Gonçalves de Souza, an individual operating under the Fácil Labs brand. Contact address: Av. Independência, 400, Laranjeiras, Betim–MG, postal code 32676-385, Brazil. Support and privacy requests: contato.facillabs@hotmail.com.
Overview
- Guardei is an app for saving web pages, texts, and files to read (or listen to) later. It is for personal use.
- The Free plan has no time limit. Paid plans have monthly limits, explained here.
- AI-generated content (natural voices, summaries, and podcasts) may contain errors and does not replace the original text.
- How your data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Your account
To use Guardei, you create an account with an email address and password. The account is yours and for your personal use: protect your password and do not share it. If you forget it, use “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen.
The age policy prepared for launch allows ages 16 and older in Brazil, the US and Japan, and 18 and older in India. Conditions and rollout status are described in the teenage-protection section below; accounts aged 16 and 17 require separate guardian permission for purchases and external AI when these controls are activated.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete my account and data).
What you save
You decide what to save. Your saved content is for your reading: Guardei does not publish or show your articles, notes, PDFs, or screenshots to other people.
Texts and images on saved pages remain the property of their authors. Guardei stores a copy for you to read later, as a browser would. Do not use the app to distribute other people’s content without permission, and only save files you have the right to save.
Using Guardei for illegal activities, trying to access another person’s account, or using bots or programs to save pages in bulk is not allowed. To protect the service, the app limits how many pages each account can download per hour.
Plans and limits
- Free: up to 1,000 saved articles, 3 highlights per article, listening to 15 different articles per month with your device’s voice, and importing up to 50 articles. Screenshots (Android app) are stored only on your phone.
- Premium: 1 GB of cloud storage for PDFs and screenshot images, unlimited articles and highlights, PDFs, following websites (with new-article notifications if you enable them), searching inside article text, article overviews, and unlimited listening with your device’s voice (also with the screen off in the Android app).
- Premium+: everything in Premium, 5 GB of cloud storage for PDFs and screenshot images, plus 30 natural voice minutes per month, up to 30 AI summaries per month, and up to 10 new podcasts per month.
Monthly limits reset on the first day of each month and do not accumulate: unused allowances do not carry over to the next month. Prices and plan features appear on the Plans screen and may change; a price change does not apply to a period you have already paid for.
Subscriptions through the app (Google Play). In the Guardei Android app from the Play Store, paid plans and voice packages are purchased through Google Play, with billing in Brazilian reais: monthly or annual, renewing automatically until you cancel. Cancellations and refund requests are handled through Google Play under its rules (in the app: Plans → “Manage or cancel subscription”). When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. When you switch plans (Premium ↔ Premium+), Google credits the remaining value of the previous plan.
Subscriptions through the website (Mercado Pago). On the Guardei website (computer and iPhone), payments are processed by Mercado Pago in Brazilian reais. Monthly subscriptions are charged to a credit card and renew automatically every month until you cancel on the website’s Plans screen (“Cancel monthly renewal”); after cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the month already paid for, with no new charge. Annual plans and voice packages are paid once, in full, by Pix or card, and do not renew automatically. A plan bought on the website works on any device using your account. Website subscriptions are canceled on the website; Google Play subscriptions are canceled in Google Play.
United States website purchases — Dodo Payments, not yet activated. When available, Dodo Payments will be the reseller and Merchant of Record identified at checkout and on the receipt; Fácil Labs maintains the app. Billing country is separate from interface language. Monthly and annual USD subscriptions will renew automatically; voice packages are one-time purchases valid for 12 months. Price, taxes, total, billing frequency and renewal terms must be displayed before confirmation. Recurring billing requires express agreement. Cancel through the portal linked from Plans or your receipt to prevent further renewals; access continues through the paid period. See refunds and local rights. This channel does not offer sales until activated.
Brazilian distance purchases. Brazilian consumers retain the statutory withdrawal right under article 49 of Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code: 7 days from signing or receiving the service, as applicable, with repayment of amounts paid. Request assistance through the purchase channel or contato.facillabs@hotmail.com. Google Play or another intermediary’s procedures do not remove mandatory Brazilian consumer rights. Refunded benefits are withdrawn only for the corresponding purchase; a separate valid purchase or complimentary entitlement is preserved.
7 days free for Premium through Google Play, when offered at checkout. On your first Premium subscription, the first 7 days are free. If you cancel before they end, you will not be charged; otherwise, billing starts on day 8. The free trial is available once per Google account. Premium+ has no free trial.
Your plan is activated only after the provider for your purchase channel confirms payment. A pending payment activates your plan once approved. If an app purchase does not appear, use “Restore purchases” on the Plans screen; if a website purchase does not appear, write to the email address below.
Cloud storage
What counts. PDFs and screenshot images stored in the cloud count toward your storage: 1 GB in Premium and 5 GB in Premium+. Article text, notes, highlights, and natural voice audio do not count. Under Account → Your storage, you can see your usage and files listed from largest to smallest, and delete one or several. Deleting a file removes only the file: the article, notes, and highlights remain.
On the Free plan. The Free plan does not store files in the cloud. The entire screenshot stays on your phone (image, extracted text, and thumbnail) and appears on other devices as “Screenshot saved on your phone,” counting toward the 1,000-article limit. If you change phones, uninstall the app, or clear its data, the screenshot does not transfer: use Account → Export my articles (with “Include PDFs and screenshots too”) to keep a copy.
If your plan ends (or has less storage). If your files exceed your current plan’s storage, they are kept for another 60 days. The app shows how many days remain and a “Download my files” button. After the deadline, files exceeding the allowance are deleted from the cloud, oldest first, with favorites last. Resubscribing within 60 days prevents deletion. For people who already had files on the Free plan before this rule, the period starts on October 9, 2026.
Natural voice audio in the cloud. Audio that has not been requested for 12 months is deleted from the cloud. If you had already paid for that passage and request it again, it is generated again without deducting minutes. Audio saved on your device is unaffected.
Natural voices, AI summaries, and podcasts (Premium+)
Natural voices, AI summaries, and article podcasts are generated by artificial intelligence. They can make mistakes: change a number, mispronounce a name, or summarize something the author did not write. Do not make important decisions based only on them; when in doubt, refer to the original article.
How minutes are counted. Natural voice minutes are counted based on the audio you receive at normal speed (1×): listening at 2× does not use fewer minutes. Podcasts use the same minutes. To avoid interruptions, the app requests a few seconds of audio in advance; if you stop before listening to them, those seconds have already been counted.
Listening again. Each passage is deducted when you receive it. “Save audio on this device” (Account → Reading voice) is enabled by default: what you listen to stays on the device and can be replayed as often as you like, without using minutes and even offline. You can turn it off; with it off, listening again deducts minutes again.
If you delete saved audio. Under Account → Saved audio, you can delete audio for one article, several articles, or all articles. After deletion, listening to those passages again with a natural voice uses minutes again. The app warns you before deletion.
Changing devices. The server keeps a list of what your account has listened to with saving enabled. On a new device, those passages are downloaded again without deducting minutes.
Audio stays inside Guardei. Saved audio plays only inside the app, in the account that listened to it. It is for your personal use: it is not a file to copy, publish, or sell.
When Premium+ ends. Audio already saved on your device continues to play. In the cloud, audio for your private files and texts and the list of what your account has listened to are kept for 60 days after Premium+ ends. After that, they are deleted and cannot be recovered: if you resubscribe later, anything not on the device is generated and deducted again. Resubscribing within 60 days keeps everything as it was. Switching from Premium+ to Premium counts as ending Premium+. This rule does not apply while you still have a valid minutes package.
Summaries and podcasts. Each new summary and each new podcast counts as 1 toward the monthly limit. The AI reads up to 24,000 characters: a larger PDF (roughly 8 to 10 pages of text) cannot receive a summary or podcast, and the app tells you without charging anything. Reopening an existing summary or podcast does not count. They stay in your account and are removed with the article if you delete it.
Report a problem. If a summary or podcast is offensive, incorrect, or unrelated to the article, tap “Report a problem” (below the summary, podcast, and summaries in the Notebook). The report reaches the Guardei team with a copy of the generated content. That summary or podcast is removed from your account, and generating it again does not count toward the monthly limit. To prevent abuse, you can submit up to 20 reports per day.
If Premium ends and you have more than 1,000 articles
Nothing is deleted during the 60 days after Premium ends. The app warns you, shows how many days remain, and offers a copy of your data (Account → Export my articles). After 60 days without Premium, 1,000 articles remain — favorites and articles with notes or highlights first, then the most recent — and the rest are permanently deleted. Resubscribing within the period prevents deletion.
What to expect from the service
Guardei is maintained with care, but it may become unavailable, and a feature may change or cease to exist. Some pages do not allow apps to read their text; in those cases, the link is saved and the app shows the information the page provides about itself. Make a copy from time to time (Account → Export my articles): it is free on all plans.
An account used to bypass these rules or harm the service or other people may be suspended. Except for an urgent security issue or legal obligation, we will explain the reason and provide a contact to challenge it. Mandatory remedies concerning a paid period remain available. Outages or changes do not exclude liability imposed by applicable law.
Location and mandatory rights
Language changes presentation, not jurisdiction. Brazilian consumers retain mandatory protections under Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code and LGPD. For United States consumers, applicable federal and state consumer and privacy laws also apply. These terms do not waive mandatory rights, impose arbitration or a class-action waiver, or restrict access to a court available under applicable consumer law.
The planned international billing launch described here covers the United States. An English interface does not announce a launch in India, Japan, the European Union or the United Kingdom. Expansion into those markets requires a separate review.
Refund and renewal policy
Brazil: the withdrawal right above and mandatory remedies for defects, improper charges and failure to deliver the offer remain available. Processing follows the purchase’s payment method; platform procedures do not waive those rights.
United States, Dodo Payments: the Brazilian seven-day withdrawal rule is not presented as a general US right. Mandatory local remedies remain applicable. Request assistance for billing errors, a service that materially differs from its description or persistent technical defects through our support email or the support channel on your receipt. Dodo Payments processes approved refunds under its Buyer Terms. We do not promise a refund simply because a request is submitted within a particular discretionary period. Cancellation prevents future renewals; a refund concerns an existing charge. Refunded benefits are withdrawn only for the corresponding purchase.
US renewals: the confirmation must explain billing and cancellation. Renewal, trial-ending and price-change notices will be provided where applicable law requires them, including state requirements. A paid period is not repriced retroactively. A change requiring new authorization will not take effect without it. Deleting the app or account is not a cancellation request to the billing provider: cancel first and contact support if you cannot access the portal.
Changes to these terms
When something important changes, this page and the date at the top will be updated. Questions: contato.facillabs@hotmail.com.

Age and protections for teenagers
For accounts aged 16 or 17, the legal guardian receives an email invitation, states their name, confirms adult capacity and legal responsibility, and chooses purchases and external AI separately. Neither option is selected by default. We record the email address, name, choices, policy version and request, acceptance, expiration and revocation dates. Email approval does not verify identity or parentage. The invitation expires after 48 hours; accepted permissions last up to 365 days and can be revoked through the same link.
Permission does not make a payment or grant a paid plan. The user must complete checkout with the displayed price, billing frequency and renewal terms. Revocation blocks new purchases and AI requests; existing subscriptions require separate cancellation. External AI may process the content submitted to produce summaries or audio; permission for purchases does not authorize AI.
The launch policy being prepared is age 16 or older in Brazil, the United States and Japan; age 18 or older in India. We request birth month and year and country of residence, without preselected answers. This declaration is not proof of identity or location; language does not determine country. Age is calculated conservatively at the end of the birth month.
The protected record is used only for access and permissions. Changes to editable account fields do not change this record. Age or country corrections require support review. Missing or unsupported country and insufficient age prevent completion of the flow.
For ages 16 and 17, Google Ads campaign measurement is disabled and purchases and new requests to external AI/voice services remain blocked until the guardian approves the respective permissions, when the flow is activated. Declaring guardian authorization in account fields cannot unlock these features. Cancellation, refund assistance, export and deletion remain available; existing paid benefits are not cancelled by this control.
Contact contato.facillabs@hotmail.com for corrections, under-age account reports or appeals. Do not send identity documents or passwords by ordinary email. Protection records are deleted with the account, except where a specific legal obligation requires retention.
This policy and these controls are prepared in development and are not active in the published version. Parental supervision, store age signals, risk assessment and jurisdiction review remain pending. These limits are not a certification of compliance.
